Chronic Illness as a Gift

Living a life restricted by chronic health issues can be discouraging and sucky ...and yet, there are things to be grateful for and about. Don't miss them.

As I work on Day 6 of a guided meditation on gratitude, I’m reminded of the ways in which my life changed as a consequence of chronic illness. While I would neverĀ pick this reality, there are many things about it that do engender thankfulness.

Dr. Susannah-Joy Schuilenberg is a Canadian mental health professional with a passion for travel. Bossy from birth, compassionate by choice, and funny by accident, Susannah-Joy writes about anything that catches her attention. All opinions are her own, as is the writing, unless credited otherwise. Stay tuned.
